The 25-year-old enjoyed a successful debut season with the Red and Yellow as he netted six goals and added four assists as he helped the side win the Ligue Professionnelle 1 and successfully defend the Tunisian Cup and Super Cup.
Previous reports suggest that Saudi Pro League side Al-Hazem were interested in luring the winger away from Esperance, while Russian side FC Dynamo Makhachkala were also reportedly interested.
However, recent reports from Assarih revealed that club president Hamdi Meddeb has now offered a different stance regarding Mokwana's future.
The Taraji President reportedly did not want to let the former Sekhukhune United player leave the club, but due to the recent interest from Saudi Arabia and Russia, Meddeb is now seriously considering selling the South African for the club's financial benefit.
