A South African youth international has now secured a loan move to a Swedish side.

19-year-old Waylon Renecke will spend the 2025/26 season on loan with Swedish second division side, Örgryte IS.
The South African U/17 international moved to the Swedish side from Danish giants FC Copenhagen. The defender, who was born in Peterborough, spent his youth career at English Championship side Norwich City.
The Swedish side were released a statement announcing the South African's signing and the club's sporting director, Pontus Farnerud, expressed his excitement over Reyencke's signing and praised the teenager for his talents.
"Waylon possesses qualities both on and off the field that we think fit very well into ÖIS and the squad," Farnerud said.
"He is very mature and ambitious for his age and it will be interesting to see his development in our environment. We have had a good dialogue with FCK and found a structure that is beneficial to all parties," he concluded.
Speaking during his first interview with the club, the former Norwich defender was happy about his new move.
"I'm really happy to be here, first of all I want to say thank you to Pontus (the sporting director) and the coach for giving me the opportunity," Reynecke said. "I'm looking forward to meeting the players and the staff as well," he added.
Reynecke described himself as a confident player on the ball, an aerial threat and dominant in both boxes. The defender revealed his goals for his time in Sweden.

"For me, I just want to get better in a winning environment because the team is doing really well and just look to add to the quality in the team," he concluded.
