The story
Orlando Pirates are on a mission this transfer window after reportedly signing winger Tshepang Moremi from AmaZulu. Prior to this, Moremi subtly hinted at his future prospects.
The 24-year-old left winger took to Instagram on Friday afternoon to post a childhood picture of himself wearing an Orlando Pirates jersey, seemingly attending a game.
Hailing from Sharpeville, a move to the Buccaneers fulfils a lifelong dream for Moremi, in what will be a new era for the club following Jose Riveiro’s departure last season.
Moremi enjoyed an impressive season under coach Arthur Zwane, helping Usuthu secure a spot in the top eight of the Betway Premiership.
He contributed significantly with 7 goals and 4 assists in 31 matches across all competitions, which has caught the attention of Hugo Broos, making his debut for Bafana Bafana in a goalless draw with Tanzania.
