The story
Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Matlou recently shared his thoughts on Nkosingiphile Ngcobo's abilities by giving it a rating in the style of an EA FC player card.
In a light-hearted bit of content with SuperSportBet, Matlou evaluated Ngcobo's pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, physicality, and defence — highlighting both his knowledge of Mshini’s game and his personal preferences on the pitch —adding a fun twist to how players perceive each other's strengths on the field.
Matlou gave Ngcobo a 78 overall rating, praising the diminutive left-footed midfielder for his shooting and passing with scores of 75 and 80, respectively.
Matlou, who made as many appearances for the Glamour Boys in the 2024/25 season as Ngcobo (15), had a good chuckle in deciding how low to rate Ngcobo's defensive abilities, giving the Pietermaritzburg-born star an abysmal score of 58.
