The story
After officially announcing a technical sponsorship with Macron South Africa on Wednesday, Siwelele FC (formerly SuperSport United) has ushered in a new era at the club with new strips.
Siwelele, who purchased SuperSport United's top-flight status, are on a mission to honour the legacy of the now defunct Bloemfontein Celtic, and the new kits reflect Phunya Sele Sele's famous colour scheme of green and white.
The club's new Home kit features a V-necked jersey with a stark white base and is embossed with thick, green vertical stripes, matching the shorts and socks. The Macron logo matches the base of the top, with Siwelele's crest displayed as is and the Johnson logo in its usual red.
The black Away kit comes with an old-school collar, a subtle, horizontal zig-zag pattern at the top of the jersey, which displays the Johnson logo in white, just above a green and white strip across the torso.
The Lehlohonolo Seema-coached side could debut their home strip in their Betway Premiership season opener against Golden Arrows and the Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.
