The story
Bafana Bafana captain and Masandawana shot-stopper Ronwen Williams partnered with Jungle South Africa to inspire the next generation of athletes from his hometown, Gelvandale, in Gqeberha.
Williams is part of the 'Jungle Champions' alongside Bafana Bafana legend Lucas Radebe, and Banyana Banyana star Refiloe Jane, among a plethora of SA's top athletes and as part of the campaign, he recently visited his Alma Mater, Gelvandale Primary, with the popular oats brand.
Donning the Jungle SA tracksuit, "Ronza" interacted with the learners by signing autographs and learning some trendy dance moves. He took to Instagram to share pictures and videos of his visit to the school, including a clip of the children receiving small parcels from Jungle SA.
"Thanks to Jungle for helping inspire the next generation to live life with heart. This is where it all started for me; it was awesome to be back," said Williams, who regularly goes out of his way to uplift his community, mainly through his foundation.
