Kaizer Chiefs publicly unveiled their newest signing, Lebohang Maboe, to the delight of the Khosi Nation at the FNB Stadium.
The 30-year-old midfielder completed his move to the Glamour Boys on Tuesday after being released by Mamelodi Sundowns during the off-season. Maboe's switch to Chiefs marks a fresh chapter in his career and a return to the club that developed him as a youth player.
Maboe was warmly welcomed by supporters during a symbolic lap around the iconic Calabash in full Chiefs colours.
Chiefs' new jersey number six cut an excited figure and lapped up the positive reception. Fans showed their love and support to the player by cheering him on and signalling their excitement about his addition to the squad.
With the backing of the Khosi Nation behind him, Maboe will look to make an instant impact under Nasreddine Nabi's tutelage this season, with the 30-year-old set to add a wealth of experience to Chiefs' midfield ranks.
