Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has made some interesting calls in his latest squad, as they prepare to take on their next assignments in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Broos named his preliminary squad last week, but there were a number of injury concerns, including Mamelodi Sundowns captain Themba Zwane, who is expected to be about for about two months.

Without Zwane, and Nkosinathi Sibisi who has been injured, Broos has named his final 23-man squad for the upcoming qualifiers against Lesotho and Nigeria in early September.
Broos has included Orlando Pirates in-form winger Kamogelo Sebelebele and Kaizer Chiefs attacker Mduduzi Shabalala in his roster too.
Sebelebele could prove to be important for the team on the right side of attack for Bafana Bafana, looking at how well he has started at Pirates since joining them from TS Galaxy.
Shabalala, who was part of the Cosafa Cup squad a few months ago, has started the season well and has finally broken into the main squad. It will be an opportunity to raise his hand, especially with the Africa Cup of Nations coming in a few months.

Broos, meanwhile, has left out a few Sundowns players, including Khuliso Mudau, Thapelo Morena, Jayden Adams and Fawaaz Basadien.
Bafana are top of Group C in the qualifiers on 13 points, with four victories and two draws in six matches.
