The Spanish legend, who also coached his boyhood club, led the Blaugrana to the La Liga title in 2023 before he stepped down after two and a half years in charge.
A big reason the 2010 World Cup winner cited for his resignation was the reported mistreatment within the club ranks.
Xavi has now been away from management for over a year and reportedly said he would love to make a return to coaching, according to Daily Mail.
The two-time European Championship winner admitted the English Premier League or a national team would be an exciting prospect.
"There's no hurry for me, but I'd like a good project," Xavi said.
"Like, 'You have four years to work and make a project.' I'd love to work in the Premier League because I love the passion there. In Spain, it's too much about the result."
He continued: "Or a national team, that would appeal. When I dreamed about being a coach, I dreamed about being in a World Cup or European Championship.'
Xavi revealed there was mistreatment of all managers in Spain and compared Carlo Ancelotti and Mikel Arteta's respective situations.
"Look at what's happening to Ancelotti, with everyone criticizing him," the Spaniard said. "It's not fair. He's won thirty titles in ten years and they talk like he's won nothing.

He added: "Arsenal with Arteta is a great project. It's his sixth year and there have been tough seasons, but the club trusted him. That doesn't happen in Spain."
