This follows the departure of previous captain Yusuf Maart, who recently joined Austrian side SV Ried.

According to insiders close to the situation, the club has established a captains committee that will share leadership responsibilities depending on match selection.
The Siya sources added that the committee will consist of Inacio Miguel, Brandon Petersen, and Given Msimango, with a clear hierarchy established.
"Both management and the technical team agreed that there should have a captains committee with three players on it. The club captain is Inacio Miguel but he will be working together with Brandon Petersen and Given Msimango as his vices. It will depend on who is playing on that day to take over from Miguel who is the number one captain, then Petersen followed by Msimango. That's how it will work," the source told Soccer Laduma.
Meanwhile, a second insider explained that the committee will serve as an important communication channel within the club's structure.
"They decided to have a captains committee so that they can have players who can help handle matters which could arise and need to be addressed, whether between the players and the technical team or between the players and management. So those three are the ones who will be mediating between all the involved parties," the second source revealed.

A third Siya source indicated that Zitha Kwinika is an additional option as Chiefs captain, once again depending on selections for a respective match.
The Angolan international Miguel served as vice-captain last season under Maart's leadership. The 29-year-old defender featured in the vast majority of Betway Premiership matches during his debut season at Naturena. His impressive qualities have earned him a nomination for the Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament award after helping Amakhosi secure their first trophy in a decade.
Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs for comment but received no official response at the time of preparing this story.
