Check Out: Liverpool Demands 'Fee' For Trent’s Early Exit
After Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold announced his exit from the Premier League champions, it was revealed that the defender had reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid to join the side next season.
However, it appears as though the Spanish giants have not finished shopping in Merseyside as French international Ibrahima Konate has reportedly been targeted for a move to the Spanish capital, according to Marca.
The report revealed that Konate and French teammate William Saliba are two of the defensive targets for Real Madrid, along with Bournemouth's Dean Huijsen.
The La Liga side will reportedly wait to approach Liverpool number 5 once his contract expires in June 2026.
Liverpool will be desperate to avoid the same situation as they did with Trent Alexander-Arnold and contract talks with Konate have not progressed, according to OneFootball.
