According to AfricaFoot, the Blood and Gold have successfully secured the signature of teenage winger Adama Coulibaly. Earlier this transfer window, reports emerged that the Malian was eager to leave Al Hilal Omdurman ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The 19-year-old had a standout showing in the CAF Champions League last season—particularly in the away clash against Young Africans, where he scored the final goal in a 2-0 victory. That performance, coupled with consistent domestic displays, is believed to have drawn interest from clubs across the globe.
However, Coulibaly appears to have opted to remain on the African continent, as he is now poised to join the record Tunisian champions. Esperance are coming off a dominant 2024/25 campaign in which they secured a domestic treble—lifting the league title, cup, and Super Cup.
With growing speculation around a possible departure for Elias Mokwana from the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi, the signing of Coulibaly could be seen as a move to bolster their depth on the wings.

Coulibaly would have been their latest addition from the region, but it seems they have been beaten to his signature by the four-time CAF Champions League winners.
