Mamelodi Sundowns are continuing their squad reshuffle, and more changes could be on the horizon as the club assesses who else may be released.
One player whose future remains uncertain is Ethiopian international Nasir Abubeker, who spent last season on loan at SuperSport United.
"For now he is still at Sundowns but its not clear whether he will be registered for this coming season or not. His future is in the balance. It's believed that the final decision regarding his future is not made yet," a source revealed to the Siya crew.

Indications are that the recent sale of SuperSport United to Siwelele FC may have complicated matters regarding Nasir's potential return.
"There was a chance of him staying on at SuperSport United, but as things stand, its not clear what his future holds. He has returned to Sundowns for now," the source added.
Since joining the Brazilians in the 2022/23 season, the 25-year-old forward has made just 12 appearances and scored two goals.
