Mike Makaab has given an update on former Mamelodi Sundowns player Rivaldo Coetzee, as he looks to find a new home for the upcoming season.
Sundowns confirmed the departure of Coetzee earlier this week, bringing an end to a seven-year stay at the club which saw him playing an important part in the team whenever he was available for selection.

He missed a big part of last season due to injury, but had recovered by the end of the campaign, though he did not feature in the final few matches under coach Miguel Cardoso.
Makaab has revealed that the player is in the final stages of his rehabilitation and will soon be ready to sign for a club that shows an interest in his services.
"There's nothing at the moment. We are looking at opportunities for him. He is in the last little bit of his rehab, so we will take our time and wait patiently for the right opportunity for him," Makaab told Soccer Laduma.
Makaab meanwhile, is expected to meet Sundowns to discuss the future of winger Kobamelo Kodisang, who struggled for game time last term. In his first season with the club, Kodisang made just 13 appearances.
