It's believed that there were possibilities for the winger abroad, particularly in Denmark, but Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso has Letlhaku in his plans for the upcoming season, especially after his contribution at the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations with Amajita, a competition which the team won.
Upon his return, Letlhaku was included in Sundowns' FIFA Club World Cup squad and got to make two appearances as a substitute for the Tshwane giants. The 19-year-old assisted Lebo Mothiba's first Sundowns goal, in the club's 4-3 defeat to German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund.

Soccer Laduma has been led to believe that the technical team was impressed with what they saw from the player during the competition and there is a good chance that he will play a bigger role in the team in the coming season.
After making 15 appearances in all competitions last term, Letlhaku looks set for more in the new season.
