The story
In a pulsating battle that proved to be a healthy advert for South African football, German heavyweights Borussia Dortmund ran out 4-3 winners over Betway Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns, on Saturday in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This victory propelled Dortmund to the top of Group F, while Sundowns fell to third place. However, Sundowns still have the opportunity to qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup play-offs with one round of matches remaining.
Masandawana's relentless attack, coupled with the club's trademark shoeshine and piano flair, won the hearts of fans in the United States, including presenters from DAZN Football's coverage.

A Cincinnati-based football content creator named "The Chief" declared The Queen City an official "Mamelodi Sundowns city."
