The story
Ex-Buccaneers right-back Thabiso Monyane is currently training intensively as he prepares for the 2025/26 season.
Determined to stay in peak physical condition and remain injury-free, Monyane looks focused on kickstarting his new journey, working hard on his right foot, as the 25-year-old was posted doing intensive cardio exercises with his trainer, Muzingabo Nxumalo.
The comments section of the video shared on Instagram was overwhelmed with messages from the Khosi Nation, who are eager for the arrival of Monyane and left-back Paseka Mako.
The duo were reportedly signed by Kaizer Chiefs on free transfers after being released from Orlando Pirates.
Pirates opted not to extend their contracts, which are set to expire on 30 June 2025. Both players, who operated as wing-backs, were among the longest-serving members of the squad.
Monyane spent five seasons at the club. The talented defender was promoted from the Pirates junior ranks in 2019, having joined as a 12-year-old.
Here's a look at Monyane going hard at the gym, potentially preparing for the start of Amkhosi's pre-season training and trip to the Netherlands:
