Spanish giants Real Madrid have confirmed their fourth signing of the transfer window.
The LALIGA have confirmed they reached an agreement with Benfica to sign full-back Álvaro Carreras.

Carreras, who is a former Manchester United, has joined Los Blancos in a deal reportedly worth €50million (R1billion).

Real Madrid CF and Sport Lisboa e Benfica have reached an agreement for the transfer of Álvaro Carreras, who remains tied to our club for the next six seasons, until June 30, 2031.
Álvaro Carreras' presentation will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, at 1:00 p.m., at Real Madrid City.
Previously, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez will welcome Carreras for the formal signing ceremony that links our new player to the club for the next six seasons.
After the presentation, Carreras will address the media in the press room at Real Madrid City.
