The Red Devils have confirmed the signing of Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp.
The deal is reported to be worth €21 million (R432.5 million), with a further €4 million (R82 million) in potential add-ons. Lammens has signed a five-year contract with the record Premier League champions as he begins a new chapter at Old Trafford.
United’s decision to reinforce their goalkeeping department comes after a difficult start to the 2025/26 season for both Altay Bayindir and Andre Onana.
The Turkish international was largely at fault for the decisive goal in United’s opening-day defeat to Arsenal, while the Cameroonian made two costly errors during their Carabao Cup exit at the hands of Grimsby Town.

While World Cup winner Emiliano Martinez was also linked with a move to Old Trafford, United have ultimately settled on Lammens, who is expected to establish himself as the club’s new No.1 between the posts.
