A few weeks after the close of the Betway Premiership season, Golden Arrows appear to have made a call on the coaching department but they don't hold the key.
Soccer Laduma has been led to believe that there is currently no agreement in place for a new deal, but the KZN outfit is believed to be interested in keeping the coach beyond the end of June, which is when his contract will expire.

Mngqithi is set to meet his agent Mike Makaab next week to discuss what the future holds and a final decision could be made on a deal with Arrows, who want to improve on the past season's performances.
Indications are that Mngqithi is looking at a long-term deal, with a project in mind, to build a team that can challenge for silverware.
Despite finishing outside of the top eight, Arrows are hoping to have Mngqithi on board for next season and it appears there could be an agreement over a new deal by the end of the month, if there are no other tempting offers for the coach to take up.
