A couple of weeks before the transfer window officially opens, midfielder Sipho Mbule may need to put his hopes of playing for one of the Soweto giants to bed.
Agent Mike Makaab confirmed in a post on social media that Mbule had been offered to Amakhosi, after Mamelodi Sundowns decided against keeping him beyond the end of June.

Despite being offered to the Soweto giants, Soccer Laduma has been informed that Amakhosi have not made any contact or shown any interest as yet to bring the midfielder on board for next season.
Amakhosi coach Nasreddine Nabi has been working behind the scenes to identify players he wants the club to sign for next season, but Mbule does not appear to be an option for the club as yet.
Mbule spent last season on loan to Sekhukhune United and will weigh his options in the coming weeks, with most of the clubs expected to return for pre-season training before the end of the month.
