The next few weeks will present interesting times for Thembinkosi Lorch, but Mamelodi Sundowns hold the key to what happens with the player.
Lorch, on loan to Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca from Sundowns, caught the attention of the world earlier this week with a stand out performance against Premier League giants Manchester City at the FIFA Club World Cup.

On the day, the 31-year-old dazzled Pep Guardiola's defence and was determined to either get his name on the score sheet or provide an assist for teammates. Wydad, however, were just not strong enough to get a result, let alone get on the score sheet, against City.
Lorch certainly made his mark over the last few months at Wydad and Soccer Laduma understands that the Moroccan giants are interested in having him on board for next season as well, especially with the club returning to continental football next season after qualifying for the CAF Confederation Cup.
Sundowns, it's believed, are open to letting the former Orlando Pirates player go, though it's unclear at this stage if he'd spend more time away on loan or leave permanently.

Soccer Laduma understands that Lorch has always wanted to play his football abroad and, should an opportunity to move to Europe or the Middle East present itself after the Club World Cup, he'd possibly take it.
The Siya crew contacted Sundowns for comment but the club had not responded by the time this report was published.
