Agent Mike Makaab has revealed what the latest is regarding the future of Golden Arrows head coach Manqoba Mngqithi.
Mngqithi joined the club in March on a contract until the end of the season, but it hasn't been an easy time on his third stint with the KZN outfit.

Brought in to add valuable experience after spending years at Mamelodi Sundowns, Mngqithi was unable to inspire the club to consistent positive results, but did enough to ensure they do not fight for dear life in the play-offs.
Arrows, who have 45 more minutes of football to play this season, are in 12th spot on the Betway Premiership standings and they will have an opportunity to properly plan for next season. Mngqithi, it appears, is in a good position to extend his stay at the club, but talks still need to happen between the coach and club.
With a pre-season at the club and some new signings, the coach could get the team playing the way he wants with positive results. But only time will tell if they can reach an agreement.
"We are waiting for this last game and then we will sit down and go through everything. I want to sit with the coach and see what he wants to do going forward, but it will be done sooner than later," Makaab said to Soccer Laduma.

"He's enjoyed himself, there's no doubt about that. It's about trying to see what the club thinks in terms of a long-term project. That's the most important thing for him."
Makaab has previously expressed Mngqithi's desure to work on a long-term project with a club and working on the continent has not been ruled out. Should he not extend his stay at the club, the coach would certainly not close the door to making a move outside the country, as long as it's a project that will suit him.
