Simba SC coach Fadlu Davids has refused to be drawn into discussions about his future following his side's defeat to RS Berkane in the CAF Confederation Cup final.
The Tanzanian club fell to a 2–0 loss in the first leg before settling for a 1–1 draw in the return fixture, ending their hopes of continental glory.

Despite the disappointment, Davids remained optimistic about the remainder of the season, stressing that the team still had important objectives to pursue. He acknowledged the significance of the club's achievements, given the extensive changes made during the campaign.
"The team's season is certainly not over. We still have four league games to go, and if we can win them all, we will be crowned league champions. In addition, we have a cup semi-final next Saturday. Whatever the outcome of the upcoming matches, what has been achieved so far is a major accomplishment for the club, especially in light of all the changes we have made this season," Davids told Cairo24.
Regarding his future at Simba SC, Davids maintained a measured approach, choosing to focus on the remaining fixtures rather than speculation about his tenure at the club. He emphasised the importance of staying committed to the team's immediate objectives.
"At this moment, I can't talk about staying at the club or leaving. Right now, we have very important matches that we must focus on, and we have a very important match in two days. The technical staff and I are fully focused on the remaining matches, and all our focus is on doing our best to achieve the double: the league title and the cup," he stated.
With Simba SC still in contention for domestic silverware, Davids is determined to lead his side through the final stretch of the season. His immediate priority remains securing the league title and cup before any discussions about his future take place.
