The 29-year-old spent three years at Chiefs and was handed the captain's armband last season. He capped his Amakhosi career off in style by scoring the winning goal in the Nedbank Cup final as he lifted the Glamour Boys' first trophy in 10 years.
Maart is closing in on a move to the Austrian side for a reported fee of R15 million and the move was all but confirmed when the Capetonian was left out of the team's pre-season tour of the Netherlands.
He is set to join a long list of South Africans who are now playing their trade away from their home country.
Among them is former Kaizer Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana, who left the Glamour Boys for Romanian side FCSB in 2023 and has won back-to-back league titles since.
Former Al Ahly and Brighton forward Percy Tau is another name featured on the list, as the South African international last played in Qatar and has not played in South Africa since 2018.
Recently departed defender Ime Okon is the latest player to feature on the list following his move from SuperSport United earlier this month.
