This development comes just hours after Bosnian forward Dženan Zajmović announced his own exit from the club via social media, sparking speculation of wider changes underway at the Mpumalanga-based outfit.
Dolly’s exit is particularly significant. The former Kaizer Chiefs and Montpellier man joined Galaxy late last year in a move that was viewed as a coup for the club. While his stay was brief, his presence brought invaluable experience and star power to Adnan Beganovic's side.
However, the Siya crew understands that the club’s off-field challenges, including their transfer ban from FIFA, have played a role in the current wave of departures.
Insiders have indicated that more exits could follow in the coming days as players weigh up their options amid the growing uncertainty.
Dolly, 31, had been looking to reignite his career following an injury-disrupted spell at Chiefs. While he showed flashes of his quality at Galaxy, it now appears both parties have agreed to go their separate ways ahead of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership campaign.
As for Zajmović, the striker confirmed his departure in an emotional post, thanking the club and its fans after finishing the season with an impressive 11 goals across all competitions.
