While they are preparing for the new season in the Netherlands, Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs are in the process of finding a solution for a player who is not in the plans of head coach Nasreddine Nabi.
Amakhosi sent out youngster Donay Jansen on loan to SuperSport United last season, but he was unable to break into the line up and get regular game time. As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Jansen is unlikely to form part of the first team at Naturena in the coming season and further information provided revealed that the Soweto giants are actively looking to place the player at a club where he can get more opportunities to play.

As things stand, a move to the Motsepe Foundation Championship is more likely for the 22-year-old, especially with Amakhosi bringing in new players for the upcoming campaign. It's unclear, at this stage, if he'll leave on loan again or on a permanent basis.
What's working against Jansen is that there aren't too many Chiefs players who have gone out on loan and returned to make an impact at the club. Previously, players such as Sabelo Radebe, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Given Thibedi, Keletso Sifama, Lebohang Lesako, Darrel Matsheke and Yusuf Bunting have gone out on loan were unable to return to Naturena to play regularly in the first team.

After struggling to get regular game time at SuperSport, Jansen could follow the same path as the above mentioned players. Before leaving for SuperSport last season, Jansen signed a deal with Amakhosi until June 2027.
Chiefs, meanwhile have already announced the exits of players such as Edmilson Dove, Ranga Chivaviro, Mdantsane and Radebe, with more expected to leave the club before the close of the transfer window.
