The venue for the MTN8 final has been confirmed by the Premier Soccer League.
Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC will meet for a second consecutive year in the final of the competition and this time the battle will occur at Mbombela Stadium. Last year they met at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The PSL came out to publicly correct false reports (made by other media) regarding where the final will be played.
Moses Mabhida Stadium has been a venue used on numerous occasions for the MTN8 final, but a different route has been taken this time with the league announcing Mbombela as hosts.
Pirates will be hoping for more joy at the venue. The last time they played a final at the venue, the 2024 Nedbank Cup final, they beat Mamelodi Sundowns with a last-minute goal by youngster Relebohile Mofokeng.

It won't be easy, though, with Stellenbosch determined to secure the title after they felt hard done by in last season's MTN8 final. Stellies questioned the decisions made by the officiating team last year, feeling that they had a good chance of winning it were it not for the referee and his team.
