In an official statement released on Wednesday, the Natal Rich Boyz made it clear that current coaches Ronnie Govender, Papi Zothwane, and Siboniso Gumede will remain at the helm.

The club expressed its full support for the trio, acknowledging their contribution to the team's improved performance during the recently concluded Betway Premiership campaign.

“Richards Bay Football Club would like to categorically state that the club is not looking for any coach,” the statement read.

“Our coaches… remain our coaches and we are looking forward to continuing our working relationship with them.”

The confirmation comes amid swirling rumours in local football circles suggesting that Richards Bay could be in the market for a new coach following their fight for survival this past season. However, the club’s statement has now put that talk to rest, instead backing the current setup to lead the side forward.

The club also took the opportunity to thank Govender, Zothwane and Gumede for their “dedication in improving the team” and “achieving an improved log standing.”
