Orlando Pirates are believed to be looking far and wide to strengthen their squad for next season as they will be competing in many competitions again.
News from reliable sources close to the club have indicated that the Buccaneers have been monitoring a Motsepe Foundation Championship side winger who has been finding the net regularly this season.
The insiders added that Pirates have monitored and enquired about winger Trevor Mokwena who they are understood to be willing to bring on board.
"The team is looking at different wingers who could bolster the squad next season and because there is competition for Marumo Gallants winger Daniel Msendami then it's believed that they are monitoring Upington City winger Trevor Mokwena. Apparently they have enquired about him and they were just waiting for the end of the season to look at other logistics," the insider told the Siya crew.
Meanwhile a second insider stated that the club is also monitoring the situation of TS Galaxy winger Kamogelo Sebelebele, a player they have apparently been following for some time now.
"Actually these three Sebelebele, Msendami and now Trevor Mokwena are like the main targets in as far as wingers are concerned. Yes, there are other departments like strikers and defenders that the club is believed to have enquired about but now they are monitoring Trevor Mokwena from Upington City," the second source told Soccer Laduma.

The 24-year-old former University of Pretoria winger has been prolific in front of goal for the Gucci Boys this season, finding the net on many occasions.
This interest in Mokwena demonstrates Pirates' comprehensive approach to recruitment as they prepare for multiple competitions next season. While traditionally PSL clubs have favoured proven top flight talent, Mokwena's impressive goal return from a wide position makes him an intriguing prospect despite playing in the second tier.
With competition for their other winger targets potentially driving up prices, this move could represent smart business for the Buccaneers. As Pirates begin planning for life under a new coach following Jose Riveiro's departure, adding attacking depth and goalscoring options from wide areas appears to be a clear priority in their transfer strategy.
