Soccer Laduma has been led to believe that Tshwane giants Mamelodi Sundowns are willing to cut their losses with a midfielder who has been out on loan this season.
Sundowns have a few contracts coming to an end in June and the club will be using the coming weeks to make decisions on who to keep and let go of. One of the players who is unlikely to stay at the club is midfielder Sipho Mbule, who was sent out on loan to Sekhukhune United.

Indications are that Sekhukhune are letting the player go before the end of the season following another alleged incident of ill-discipline. A couple of months ago, Mbule had to meet up with management following an incident with a technical team member, which was resolved.
With Sekhukhune unlikely to keep him, Sundowns now have to make a call on what happens next with the player. Mbule's contract with the reigning league champions is due to expire at the end of June. They have an option to extend the contract, but Soccer Laduma understands that the club is currently in a position where they are prepared to cut their losses and let the player go elsewhere.

The loan move was meant to give Mbule time to get more minutes on the field and fight his way back to Chloorkop. At first, the former SuperSport United player was doing well and it appeared as though Sundowns would consider having him back, but Soccer Laduma understands that things have changed, with the club willing to part ways with him.
