After comfortably surviving their debut season in the Betway Premiership, a Limpopo-based outfit is already looking at strengthening their squad for the upcoming campaign, with a loan striker potentially being offered a permanent home.
News coming out of Magesi FC is that the Limpopo-based side have offered a Mamelodi Sundowns striker who is currently on loan at the club a permanent two-year deal to remain with them.

The insiders indicated that Magesi FC are believed to have offered Thabang Sibanyoni a two-year contract which, if agreed upon, will run from July 2025 to June 2027.
"The coach and the technical team are happy with him. He has shown his true professionalism during the five months he has been with the club and that's why they have recommended for him to be kept permanently. And it's now believed that the club has offered him a two-year deal. They want to keep him after the loan deal," the Siya source stated.
A second insider stated that they believe the Brazilians will not give them problems to sign the player because he has spent the past three seasons on loan at different clubs.
"You know Sundowns are believed to be on a downsizing process and there are players they are willing to let go and Magesi believe Thabang (Sibanyoni) could be one of them and that's why they are willing to keep him permanently and have offered him a two-year contract. From the look of things the player is also happy at the Limpopo side and he is apparently willing to stay as well," the second insider told the Siya crew.
In the past three seasons, the 29-year-old has been on loan at University of Pretoria, SuperSport United, Richards Bay and then at Magesi FC where he played many games in the last few months.

Soccer Laduma contacted Magesi FC PRO Abel Rakoma who confirmed the intention of the team to keep Sibanyoni.
"That's our intention (to keep Sibanyoni). We know what he can do for the team. But we haven't started talking to Sundowns yet. When the tune is right I will tell you everything. But yes, we are looking at keeping him," Rakoma confirmed to the Siya crew.
The potential permanent acquisition of Sibanyoni could be the first of several moves for Magesi as they look to build on their long-term survival in South Africa's top flight. With Sundowns' reported squad downsizing, this could be an opportune moment for the Limpopo club to secure a player who has already integrated well with the team.
Whether Sibanyoni sees his future at the club, or if Sundowns have alternative plans for the well-traveled striker, will likely become clear in the coming week.
