The insiders added that Amakhosi have offered 20-year-old Thulani Mabaso a three-year deal running from July 2025 to June 2028, with an additional one-year option that could extend his stay until 2029.
"He is the one who could feature more this season amongst those recently promoted and they are believed to have offered him a three-year contract with a one-year option. A second source stated that Mabaso is being viewed as a direct replacement for Venezuelan international Edson Castillo, who recently departed the club.

"They believe he can replace Castillo. The way he plays and the way he handles himself, he is ready for the senior team and can do a great job. That's why the club, together with the technical team, has agreed to offer him a long-term contract," the second insider told the Siya crew.
The defensive midfielder has been a consistent performer for Chiefs' reserve side in the DDC competition. His development has been steady, earning him training opportunities with the first team last season. His hard work has culminated in his inclusion in the senior squad that traveled to the Netherlands.
