The former Kaizer Chiefs and Montpellier winger was spotted on Monday morning training with Siwelele FC, under the watchful eye of newly-appointed head coach Lehlohonolo Seema, Siya sources have revealed.
This comes after reports that both Siwelele and Sekhukhune United have been monitoring the 32-year-old's situation closely, with discussions reportedly taking place behind the scenes as both clubs assess whether the experienced attacker fits into their tactical and financial plans.
Dolly, who joined TS Galaxy late last year after parting ways with Chiefs, has already moved on from the Mpumalanga-based outfit, despite making a noticeable impact in his short stint there. His influence in a youthful Galaxy side was appreciated – both as a technical asset and a seasoned leader – but the two parties mutually agreed to part ways in recent weeks.
After enduring injury setbacks at Naturena, Dolly had hoped to rediscover his sharpness and rhythm in familiar territory. While his time at Galaxy didn’t offer a long-term platform, insiders say he managed to impress in friendlies, notably against Sekhukhune United and Siwelele, sparking internal conversations at both clubs.
As things stand, no formal offer has been tabled, but Dolly’s presence at Siwelele’s training could be an early indication of intent.
