Kaizer Chiefs have secured the Nedbank Cup, but celebrations were cut short, as the side refocused to preparing for clash that will decide a Top Eight finish.
Defender Edmilson Dove believes as players they have filed the team as he believes they should have done better than what they have so far this season with only one game to go in the season.

Addressing journalists during a media day held by the club at Naturena, the Mozambican reflected on the season.
“(In) my particular opinion, I think at some point we have failed the club," the defender said to the media.
“That is why we are given chances to fight with each and every opportunity and at this point in time we can’t dwell on the past. We have to look forward and see what is ahead of us. Yes, obviously we could have had a better season and done better and that is the sentiment (in) the group."

The 30-year-old said that the most important task at hand is the game against Polokwane City on Saturday afternoon.
“But I think now we just want to focus on what we can do at the moment and that is to qualify for the Top Eight. We know some of the teams are also fighting for the same thing but we have to fight for what we want because we cannot control what is happening with the other teams. We just have to make sure that we win our game,” Dove added.
