Ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup, the football governing body has confirmed news that will give Mamelodi Sundowns reason to smile going into the competition.
Sundowns are just a few weeks away from taking part in the Club World Cup in the USA and will get an opportunity to bolster their squad for the competition.

FIFA as confirmed that there will be a special window period for all the clubs participating in the Club World Cup, from 1 to 10 June.
The Tshwane giants are determined to make a mark in the competition and the window period will give head coach Miguel Cardoso to bring in the players he wants to add to an already star-studded side.
Clubs taking part in the competition will also be able to replace and add players during a restricted in-competition period from June 27 to July 3. According to FIFA, the objective is to encourage clubs and players whose contracts are expiring to find an appropriate solution to facilitate the players' participation.

This will ensure that the clubs participating will have their best players in the competition, allowing them to add new faces to the squads even during the tournament.
