Speaking to the media at Naturena this week, ahead of their game against Polokwane City on Saturday, Solomons said that the players know what they need to do.

"It's the last game of the season and with Top Eight not guaranteed, it doesn’t look too good, but we know what we need to do. Obviously, we need to win the game and that is all our minds are set on.

"You can categorise it as one of the biggest games of the season. It is like a cup final to us, just like the last three games have been like cup finals to us. We know how important this game is. We have to go in there knowing that we have to get the maximum three points available to us," Solomons observed.

Talking about the mood in the camp, Solomons said that the team is looking forward to a good game to end the season on high.

"The mood in the camp is good. Obviously, we know we won the Nedbank Cup and the celebrations were cut short because we needed to focus on the rest of the league games. It hasn’t been going well for us in the league, but we know where we want to be and what type of team we want to be. So, going into the last game, we know we want to get the three points so that we can compete in every competition next season," he added.

Solomons also explain the challenges he experienced while he was injured.

“It has been tough working through injuries and trying to get run of form, but recently it has been going good for me. I have been feeling more confident and obviously there are games where you do struggle when just coming back from injury. But for me, it was just trying to get into a rhythm and just trying to know the best sense of my game after the injuries. So I’m feeling a bit confident now and hopefully in the last game of the season I can show a bit more confidence," Solomons concluded.

The clash gets underway at 15:00.
