The story
Siwelele FC connected with its passionate Bloemfontein supporters ahead of their Betway Premiership opener against Golden Arrows on Saturday.
In a show of unity and appreciation, the club's CEO Stan Matthews, chairman Calvin Le John and coach Lehlohonolo Seema led the way by engaging with supporters through song, photo opportunities, and showing off the squad in their new colours, including the new kits at Hoffman Square.
This activation not only reinforces Siwelele's commitment to honouring the legacy of Bloemfontein Celtic but also builds a strong bond with the local football community.
Siwelele, who purchased the status of SuperSport United after the 2024/25 campaign, have retained the majority of last season's squad, who were present at the event alongside new signings such as Buhle Mkhwanazi, Wayde Lakay, and Katlego Relebogile Mokhuoane.
