The story
Kaizer Chiefs defenders Reeve Frosler and Aden McCarthy enjoyed an adrenaline-fueled experience at the SA Festival of Motoring held at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and International Convention Centre.
The pair were there with their vehicle sponsors, Volkswagen South Africa, taking part in the high-octane festivities.
McCarthy shared moments from the day on Instagram, posting clips of himself riding shotgun in a VW Golf R-Line as a professional driver navigated the iconic Kyalami track at thrilling speeds.
The SA Festival of Motoring has grown into the largest industry-supported automotive event in South Africa and across the continent. This year’s edition, which concludes on 31 August, features more than 100 exhibitors, with Volkswagen drawing plenty of attention through its impressive display.
Among the highlights was the brand-new Golf GTI, with Frosler and McCarthy posing for photos alongside the sleek performance and lifestyle ride that’s popular among PSL players.
