The story
Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has unveiled his final 23-man squad for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Nigeria.
South Africa will take on Lesotho on Friday, 5 September, followed by a highly anticipated clash against Nigeria on Tuesday, 9 September, with both matches taking place at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.
Bafana currently hold the top position in Group C of the qualifiers, with 13 points after playing six matches, and the reaction of the supporters seems to indicate that they're fully behind Broos' selections.
