The story
Cape Town City's top-flight status is hanging in the balance as the Premier Soccer League (PSL) confirmed the schedule for the 2025 Betway Premiership promotion and relegation play-offs.
This sets the stage for an intense battle involving Cape Town City, Casric Stars, and Orbit College.
Following a difficult 2024/25 season that saw CT City finish 15th in the Betway Premiership, the club expressed gratitude to its supporters for standing by them and called for continued backing as they prepare for a crucial month of promotion-relegation playoff fixtures.
"Thank you for your support throughout the 24/25 campaign. We've not picked up the results we wanted, and we go into the play-offs needing each and every one of you to play your part," shared City on their various social media channels.
City will open their playoffs with a home clash against Orbit College at the DHL Stadium, Saturday, 14 June.
