'Nyoso' had spent the second part of the 2024/25 season on loan at Wydad after Rulani Mokwena brought the former Orlando Pirates winger with him.
Despite Mokwena parting ways with the club before the end of the season, Lorch made a lasting impact with the club, especially after his FIFA Club World Cup performances.
The Moroccan side was reportedly keen to bring Lorch back for the upcoming campaign, and the club's president, Hicham Ait Menna, has now given the 32-year-old a deadline to decide, according to InfoSports.
Ait Menna reportedly told Lorch that he has until Saturday (9 August) to give the club an answer on what he plans to do for next season. The publication reported further that a club official said the lack of time prompted Ait Menna to push for an answer from the South African.
Reports from Africa Foot revealed that the club's supporters put extra pressure on the club's management to reignite interest in Lorch, and had criticised the club for its handling of the situation. The publication's sources said fans had protested Ait Menna to reconnect with the ex-Chippa United forward.
After Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso had revealed Lorch was not part of his plans for next season, interest in Lorch has grown significantly.
