Bayern Munich and Spanish midfielder, Javi Martinez, has expressed his delight at getting the opportunity to play in South Africa once again. The 25-year-old is part of the Spanish side set to take on Bafana Bafana in a friendly international next week Tuesday, November 19 at FNB Stadium.
The talented 25-year-old was a part of the La Furia Roja squad that competed in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in Mzansi. They later won the competition after defeating the Netherlands 1-0 at Soccer City, with Andres Iniesta bagging the winning goal in the 116th minute of extra time.

The lanky midfielder is expected to play at least some part in Tuesday's clash with Bafana, however he faces some stiff competition in the middle of the park with Real Madrid's Xabi Alonso and Barcelona's Sergio Busquets both fit and available.
Nonetheless, Martinez welcomed the opportunity to play in South Africa once again. The player told Spanish daily news provider, Marca, "We´re looking forward to returning to South Africa. It's a country that treated us very well and I have some great memories from there."
The match will start at 21h00 from the FNB Stadium.
