AmaZulu FC are understood to be showing serious interest in a Kaizer Chiefs player, with head coach Arthur Zwane reportedly keen to reunite with a player he mentored during his time at Naturena.
As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Chiefs had included five DDC players in their pre-season training camp in the Netherlands. Sources now indicate that one of these youngsters has caught the eye of Usuthu's technical team.

Insiders close to both clubs with access to confidential information have stated that AmaZulu are believed to have inquired about 20-year-old versatile right-sided player Manqoba Ozoemena from Amakhosi.
"It's believed that the AmaZulu FC technical team has proposed to management about Manqoba (Ozoemena). Coach Arthur (Zwane) knows him very well and he believes that the player can help the team this season as they compete in the MTN8 and the other tournaments as well, " the source told Soccer Laduma.
Meanwhile, a second source stated that Usuthu's recruitment drive extends beyond just Ozoemena, with the Durban-based outfit looking to strengthen multiple positions.

"At the moment there are about three or four players already believed to have been signed and the club is still looking at reinforcing the squad and that's why they have enquired about Manqoba Ozoemena," the second insider told the Siya crew.
The Soweto-born talent, who can operate as both a right-back and right winger, has been training with Chiefs' senior team since last season. The 20-year-old has been part of the Amakhosi contingent in the Netherlands for their pre-season camp, where he was hoping to impress head coach Nasreddine Nabi. It remains to be seen if Nabi ultimately decides to keep Ozoemena for the season ahead.
Soccer Laduma contacted AmaZulu FC and Chiefs for comment but received no official response at the time of publishing.
