Sources added that Lehlohonolo Seema's new side is understood to have approached South African midfielder Lebohang Maboe, who currently finds himself without a club after his release from Chloorkop.

"You know he spent last season on loan at SuperSport United. Now that team is Siwelele FC and they are believed to be interested in him and they have enquired about him. They are in the process of building a new-look team since some players have left and SuperSport United were already invested in keeping him so this could he another chance to sign him," the source told Soccer Laduma.

Meanwhile, a second insider stated that Maboe is attracting interest from multiple PSL clubs, ensuring he'll have options before the new season commences.

"Yes, Siwelele FC are believed to have shown interest in Lebohang (Maboe) but they are not the only team. Sekhukhune United and his former team Durban City are also believed to have enquired about him. And now that he is a free agent, he won't be short of suitors. It will all depend on negotiations between the involved parties now," the second insider told the Siya crew.

Maboe joined Mamelodi Sundowns from then-Maritzburg United in 2018 and spent last season on loan at SuperSport United. The versatile midfielder had represented Bafana Bafana many times at international level.

Soccer Laduma contacted Siwelele FC for comment regarding their interest in Maboe but received no response at the time of publishing.
