Lehlohonolo Seema’s Siwelele side will be looking to change their early fortunes in the Betway Premiership when they take on Richards Bay FC tomorrow in what is already shaping up to be a crucial encounter at the lower end of the standings.
The newly promoted outfit currently sit in 12th place on the league table, having collected just three points from a possible 12 in their opening four matches.

Their opponents, Richards Bay, are placed just one spot below with an identical record, making this a battle neither team will want to lose.
While it is still early days in the campaign, results in the coming weeks are expected to carry significant weight, especially with the FIFA international break fast approaching.
A source close to the club told the Siya crew, “The team is still settling in the Premiership, but football is about results. The upcoming international break will give management a chance to reflect and assess how things are going so far. Like any new project, there are always decisions to be made.”
Seema, who was unveiled as head coach in July following the club’s acquisition of SuperSport United’s topflight status, has been tasked with steering Siwelele clear of relegation battles and laying down a foundation for the future.

With his wealth of experience at clubs such as Bloemfontein Celtic, Chippa United, Golden Arrows, Polokwane City, and Sekhukhune United, the Lesotho-born tactician knows all too well the pressures that come with the hot seat.
Tomorrow’s clash against Richards Bay could therefore serve as more than just an ordinary fixture.
