PSL Players Likely To Move In January

PSL Players Likely To Move In January

The January transfer window will open in just under a month, with a few players expected to make moves to greener pastures or to simply get more game time.

The Siya crew understands that Mamelodi Sundowns could make a bid to secure the services of Khanyisa Mayo from Cape Town City, who are believed to have already signed Venezuelan forward Juan Camilo Zapata on a three-year-deal. This could be the Citizens' way of starting to prepare for life without Mayo, who has been one of their key players.

At Mamelodi Sundowns, a few players could be given an opportunity to go out on loan for more game time. Katlego Mohamme is one of the players who could get an opportunity to play elsewhere this season. He is yet to make an appearance for Sundowns this season in a competitive match and indications are that the DSTV Premiership champions are open to letting him get more opportunities at another club. Gift Motupa and Lesedi Kapinga are also having their futures assessed and a move is understood to be possible for both players.

Kaizer Chiefs left back Happy Mashiane could be allowed to go out on loan, as reported by the Siya crew, to get more game time. Mashiane has made just two appearances for the Soweto giants. Sifiso Hlanti has been first choice at left back, with Reeve Frosler seemingly the man preferred in that position whenever the experienced campaigner is not available.

Amakhosi, meanwhile, could make a move for Golden Arrows attacker Pule Mmodi, with head coach Arthur Zwane looking to bolster the attack of the Soweto giants.

Chiefs, meanwhile, are interested in SuperSport United defender Luke Fleurs but are unlikely to get him during the January transfer window.

Terrence Dzvukamanja is likely to leave Orlando Pirates, with SuperSport believed to be interested in his services. Tebogo Tlolane is another player at Pirates who has the possibility of leaving in January.
