It has been a challenging start to the season for the Romanian side, as they have struggled in their 2025/26 league campaign, securing just one win from the first four games.
They were also surprisingly eliminated from the UEFA Champions League at the second qualifying round stage, losing 3-1 on aggregate to the North Macedonian side Shkendija.
As such, the club were relegated to Europe's second-tier club competition and is just two rounds away from qualifying for the tournament proper. However, they will have to get through the first leg without Ngezana's services.
The 28-year-old is suspended for his side's clash against the Kosovan side FC Drita after he accumulated too many yellow cards in European competitions. He will be available for selection in the return leg again.
Ngezana will be a big miss for the Romanian champions as he has played a key role in the side since making the switch from Kaizer Chiefs in 2023.
