The story
Former Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa has landed a new brand partnership with Mahindra, following his recent promotion of the Indian automaker's latest 4x4 models.
Lepasa became a free agent last week after officially parting ways with the Buccaneers, making him open to offers from interested clubs.
The 28-year-old took to his social media pages to share the news, detailing what promises to be an exciting new chapter for the baller.
"This collaboration marks more than just a partnership. It's a shared commitment to pushing boundaries, embracing bold journeys, and celebrating the spirit of possibility.
"Here's to creating history, meaningful connections, and driving impact, together," read the last two paragraphs of Lepasa's statement, shared alongside a snap of himself in front of the Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV.
This follows a challenging year for the Bafana Bafana forward, who spent the entire season sidelined due to injury and did not feature in any matches for the Soweto giants.
He is currently part of the South African national team squad preparing for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Lepasa first revealed his work with Mahindra back in June, promoting the Mahindra Pik Up 2.2CRDe Double Cab 4x4 S11 Karoo Storm on his Instagram.
Earlier this week, Linda Mntambo tagged along with Lepasa to test out Mahindra's range of SUV's at the Leribisi 4×4 Training Academy.
