After a Man of the Match performance against Magesi, a combination that gets the best out of Patrick Maswanganyi could have been revealed.
Maswanganyi has blown hot and cold in the early stages of the season, with his lack of effectiveness and first half substitution against Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final second leg opening up debate, on whether he fits the system under head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou.
The Bafana Bafana attacker had a perfect start to the season scoring in a 2-0 win over Polokwane City, where his combination with new signing Sipho Mbule got supporters excited.

However, since the 1-0 defeat to Sekhukhune United in the first league game, Maswanganyi and Mbule have not started any game together.
After a lacklustre showing in the first-half against Magesi in midweek, Pirates improved in the second stanza after a triple change just from the break, that included Mbule inspired a 1-0 win.
The Buccaneers legend Moeneeb Josephs has suggested that Maswanganyi could play his game once the former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder entered the fray.
"Tito was coming back to fetch the ball, there were no ball carriers but then you bring on a player like Mbule, then Tito didn't have come fetch the ball, that was what made it difficult for him (in other matches)," Josephs said on Soccerbeat YouTube Channel.

"To come back and have to run and make those runs into the box, he wasn't himself. 'Tito' plays in that space behind the midfield and in front of the defenders, that's where 'Tito' is damaging.
"And when Mbule came on, that's where he found him, because Mbule can play the ball around the corner my friend, he doesn't have to look and the ball will go there and that's when 'Tito' came alive. They just need to understand what Tito's strengths are and you get the best 'Tito'," Josephs added.
Pirates will be back in Betway Premiership action when they visit Chippa United on Sunday evening.
